We will invest a total of £1.1bn in each UK SAF project.
Approx. 20% of the build value will be spent locally, and via targeted procurement initiatives.
A single SAF solution will generate £400m per annum for the local economy, and divert 225,000 T of MSW from Landfill.
State-of-the-art facility will have a working life cycle of 40 years, and create 130+ directly employed full time jobs.
UK has a heritage in Chemical processing – noting this sector has seen a decline across the last 40 years. Project Aldgate will contribute to reversing this decline.
